Innovation on the railway
The Norwegian Railway Directorate contributes to the railway sector being innovative and utilising new technology. Europe’s Rail Joint Undertaking is the largest innovation programme for railways in Europe to date. Under the leadership of the Norwegian Railway Directorate, the Norwegian railway sector and R&D community are participating in major innovation projects over the next 10 years.
